Canyon Lake Beaches

Sunset Beach gets it's name from moments like this.

No lake side community would be complete without beaches for swimming and sunbathing.  Canyon Lake features several beaches around the community with clean white sand, restroom facilities, picnic tables and more.  No matter where you live there's likely a beach nearby, easily within golf cart range.

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is the largest beach in Canyon Lake and the location for many of the community's big events such as Taco Tuesday and Fiesta Day.  Sunset beach is located next to the Lodge in the center of the community.  The beach is approximately 550' long with volleyball net, a large swimming area, and a spot for boats to pull up for the day.  There's also playground equipment for the kiddos and benches and picnic seating.  Restrooms are close by and food can be purchased at the nearby Lodge on the days it's open. The Property Owners Association maintains the beach in excellent shape including combing the sand at the beginning of the season.   Sunset Beach sits on the Main Lake right in front of the main boating area so there is always lots to see with high flying wake boarders and boats speeding by.  It's also a great place to view the 4th of July Fireworks Show!

Indian Beach

Indian Beach Park

Indian Beach is located midway on the East Bay of Canyon Lake and features almost 300' of sandy beach to relax on while watching the boats slowly cruise by.  There is a dedicated swimming area and lots of grassy area to run and play along with restrooms, BBQ, day dock and picnic tables.  Indian Beach also has a permanent outdoor stage that the Canyon Lake Community Theatre uses to put on performances under the stars each year.

Moonstone Beach

Moonstone Beach

Moonstone Beach juts out into the Main Lake next to Little Fish Cove and is one of the best places to watch boats speed by in the summertime.  Tucked away off of Whirlaway Drive, this small beach has swings, picnic tables, BBQ's, restrooms, and a great dedicated swimming area out of the way of boat traffic.

Sierra Park

Sierra Park has a small beach set on Big Bass Cove with a swimming area and lots of grass nearby perfect for a picnic or small party.  There is also playground equipment nearby, a Frisbee golf course, and permanent restrooms.

Holiday Harbor

Holiday Harbor

Holiday Harbor's small beach and swim area just add to the charm of this park.  With a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, picnic tables, and BBQs, this is a great place to spend the entire day.  Restrooms with outdoor shower are nearby.  Holiday Harbor is another great place to take in all the action on the Main Lake.
