​Canyon Lake Golf Course

The Canyon Lake golf course offers residents and their guest 18 challenging holes that meander through the community.  This mature par 71 course is no slouch with lots of difficult lies, tough pin placements, and even a few tricky water hazards.  The tree lined fairways are fairly narrow and the greens are not overly large.  The course is well maintained year round and is always a delight to play.  Click here for course layout and pro tips.  Several holes present unique challenges such as number 17 with a 200 ' elevation drop and what seems like a postage stamp sized green.

Golf in Canyon Lake is some of the most affordable around with annual membership fees running about $1300 with no additional green fees.  Single rounds of golf are $35.00 for residents and guests are always welcome in the company of a property owner.  There are also a limited number of annual memberships available for non residents.  Canyon Lake is a golf cart community so it's convenient to drive from your house to the course in your cart.

The course also offers golfers a chance to practice their skills with a driving range and practice putting greens near the clubhouse.  Lessons are available and they have a full time pro to help you with your swing and to oversee golf course operations.  Golf clinics and camps are held at various times during the year for kids and adults.  The Canyon Lake Men's Golf Club holds weekly tournaments and sponsors several other events like the President's Cup and the Club Championship.  The Women's Club has organized play weekly and also sponsors several other tourneys including the Rally for the Cure.  Applications for the men's club or women's club can are available in the pro shop.

The pro shop has various golf apparel, shoes, clubs, balls and other necessary items available for purchase.  The attached country club offers a place for golfers to relax after a round with a full menu and drinks at the bar.  Hours are 6am-5pm Sunday through Thursday and until 8pm Friday and Saturdays.  The country club is also open to the public as a dining facility and puts on a fabulous Sunday brunch as well as hosting several other events during the year and special menus on most holidays.  It's also a great location to host your private party or event.  For more information about the golf course or to reserve a tee time call 951-246-1782.  For country club info, call 951-244-6841, x 730.
